In 2004, Tracey Palmer founded a professional networking group for women freelancers in greater Boston called Chicks Who Write. They started as six lonely chicks periodically meeting over coffee, sharing leads and war stories (most of them worked from home with small children). Today there are 45 members, and counting, with regular networking events, professional speakers, and wine! New members are always welcome.
